Accommodations range from a two-bedroom suite with a full kitchen and cable TV, to rustic cabins in the woods. There is a community fire pit, drive through boat parking and a musical goat herder for entertainment. A public access boat ramp is less than half a mile. The grounds are trimmed by a small herd of goats, watched over by a security team of a donkey and a bloodhound. Crdoss-fenced; can accomodate guests with horses. The Visitor Center, atop Kaysinger Bluff, provides a spectacular view of Truman Dam and Reservoir. Exhibits within the visitor center provide information about the rich history of the Osage River Valley from pre-civilization to modern day. Waterfowl, bald eagles, and turkey vultures can routinely be observed from the observation deck. Truman Lake Brochures and other informational pamphlets are available. A social history time line depicting the exploration and settlement of the Osage River Valley is displayed. Exhibits on the upper deck explain Truman Lake’s role in cultural history, wildlife, and environmental managements, the operation of the powerhouse, Corps of Engineers missions, and construction of the Harry S Truman Project. A quarter-mile nature trail and a three-quarter-mile walking trail are on-site. The Visitor Center is located two miles north of Warsaw on the east end of Truman Dam. Open March through October.

The Lost Valley Fish Hatchery is the largest state-owned, warmwater hatchery in Missouri and one of the largest in the nation. The hatchery building houses a 2,000 square foot visitors center, where visitors can learn about fish culture, fishing and the Missouri Department of Conservation.
