Entertainment provided by Michael Rufkahr, 1 p.m.-5 p.m. No cover charge. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Five miles east of Hermann on Route 100; then three miles north on Route B, through Berger.

Columbia

The 16th Annual Missouri State Senior Games is a healthy, fun event for people age 50 and older. This Olympic-style sports festival provides seniors with an opportunity to compete in their favorite sports, including: archery; badminton; three-on-three basketball; bowling; cycling; golf; horseshoes; walk race; road race; shuffleboard; softball; swimming; tennis; triathlon; track and field; volleyball; darts; shooting; skill contests; soccer; and washers. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each activity.

Registration deadline is May 28. This is a separate event from the Show-Me State Games.

Point Lookout

The Division II championship is a 32 team, single-elimination tournament featuring the champions of the Division II conferences, regional tournaments and at-large berths. Held at the College of the Ozarks.

The Show-Me State Games is an Olympic-style sports festival with more than 40 competitive sports for Missouri amateur athletes of all ages and abilities. This event is designed to inspire Missourians to develop their physical and competitive abilities and to foster an amateur athletic network of participants, volunteers and sports enthusiasts. St. Joseph

This year marks the 150th anniversary of the Pony Express. On April 3, 1860, a lone rider left on horseback from the gates of one of the nation’s most historic landmarks, the Pikes Peak Stables in St. Joseph, Missouri. Carrying saddlebags filled with our nation’s hopes and dreams, the riders traveled 2,000 miles to Sacramento, California. Check our Web site for a full schedule and locations.
