The park is dedicated to the memory of Gen. Enoch Crowder, who founded the selective service system. It features trails, picnic sites and a lake for fishing and swimming. This park offers basic and electric campsites on a first-come, first-served basis. Services include modern restrooms, showers and water. The shower house is closed Oct. 15-April 30. Firewood is available for purchase. The park contains a large Missouri Indian earthwork known as the "Old Fort." Exhibits in Missouri's American Indian Cultural Center interpret American Indians in Missouri. Outdoor recreation options include picnicking, a small fishing lake and trails. Located on Route 122, off Route 41 north of Marshall.

There are eight single sites, each with a picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. Some sites have hitching rails. There are five picnic sites, each with a table and pedestal grill. Vault toilets are available. No drinking water. A pavilion with a large grill is available on a first come-first served basis. There is no charge for camping or day use.

Horses are allowed in this recreation area. The Berryman Trail traverses 24 miles of scenic Ozark countryside. It is open for hiking, equestrian and mountain bike use. Bike riders must yield the right-of–way to horseback riders. A small pond usually offers water for stock.

A pavilion is available.

This recreation site gets its name from the towering cliff across Huzzah Creek known as Red Bluff. There is a one-mile loop hiking trail. Tubing and wade fishing is possible. There is an on-site host who will assist you. This area is open April 14-Oct. 10.

Located along the St. Francis River, the area offers a variety of recreational activities and an abundance of historic and geological wonders. The silver mine started in 1877 and closed in 1946. A dam was built across the river by the mining company; the dam and the entrance to the mine are still there. Enjoy kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking and picnicking year-round. The river offers an excellent white water experience. There are two miles of trails along the river, offering spectacular views.

Wild Boar Campground has 39 single sites, seven double sites, nine walk-in sites, and four group sites, each with table, fire ring, and a lantern post. Some sites accommodate RVs up to 40 feet. Drinking water and vault toilets are available. No electric or water hookups. No showers. No dump station facilities. On-site host will assist you. Open April 2-Oct. 4. The recreation area features a 440-acre lake; fishing is permitted year-round. There are boat launches; rentable canoes and paddle boats; a concession stand; changing rooms; flush toilets; water fountains; showers; a 54,000 sq. ft. sand beach; a 12-mile loop trail; waterfowl hunting; and upland game opportunities. A day-use fee of $4 per vehicle is charged at the picnic areas and boat launches.

The campground includes 25 single sites, one double site and four picnic areas. All campsites have a table, fire ring and a lantern post. Vault toilets are available. Fishing and swimming are available. Horses are allowed on the trail, but not allowed in campground or picnic areas.

Marble Creek, rushing 20 miles through the rugged St. Francis Mountains, is named for deposits of attractively colored dolomites which were mined and used in the building trade as Taum Sauk Marble. You can see the concrete remains of a gristmill-dam, which operated until 1935, and building foundation. The Marble Creek section of the Ozark Trail is an eight-mile segment extending to Crane Lake, where it connects with the five-mile Crane Lake National Recreation Trail.

We offer 54 RV sites with 30/50-amp, sewer and water. The campground includes propane sales; a laundry; swimming pool; two ponds; a stocked three-acre lake; and two meeting rooms. Tent sites are available.  Group and RV club discounts. Free Wi-Fi at most sites.

Loggers Lake Campground offers 14 campsites around a 22-acre lake. Fire rings and tables are available; 10 picnic sites. There is a one-mile hiking trail. Electric motors only. Parking, $2. Campground open April 21-Oct. 30. The field office for this campground is located at 1301 S. Main St. in Salem. The campground is located in the Mark Twain National Forest, about eight miles southwest of Bunker.

Riverfront Campground is on 200 acres, one-fourth of a mile west of Bennett Spring State Park, a trout fishing park. Listen to the sounds of nature or the flow of the Niangua River.

We rent canoes, rafts, kayaks and tubes for a scenic float down the winding Niangua River. Open March thru October.

A shower house and a dump station are available. The campground contains a playground and an amphitheater, where nature programs are presented during the on-season. Firewood is offered for purchase. Tours are given of the spectacular show cave. The park offers access to the Meramec River, picnicking and hiking trails. Camping reservations: 877-422-6766.

A family-friendly campground on 295-acre along the banks of the Niangua River. This is a haven for fishing, camping, horseback riding, hunting, bird watching, and relaxing in a natural environment. We offer: shaded riverfront tent sites; RV hook-ups; teepee lodges; furnished tent-cabins with heating and air-conditioning; canoes, kayaks, rafts, and tube rentals; guided horseback trail rides; tractor-pulled hay rides on weekends; and deer hunting (by reservation) during archery season. Located 4.8 miles north of Bennett Spring State Park. Tent, $3-$6/person; RV, $10 plus camping fees; tepee lodge, $65.
