Founded in 1859, Mount Pleasant Winery is within the Augusta Appellation, the first federally designated viniculture district in the United States.The tasting room offers samples and sales. Award-winning estate-bottled wines and ports are aged in our original limestone cellars. A 45-minute, guided tour is available April thru October, Saturdays and Sundays, at noon and 1 p.m. Private tours are available year-round, by appointment.Enjoy a bottle of wine while relaxing under the trees on our large, terraced patios. Picnic foods can be purchased at the winery. The winery features an indoor restaurant with a serene atmosphere and spectacular views of the Missouri River Valley.
