Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy a bottle of wine in one of the many scenic areas of the estate. There is a one-mile walking path that circles the property for those who wish to energize the mind, soul and body.
The Little Northfork Creek hems the west side. Sit in the woods in Maynooth Park and see our Nine Ladies stone circle, the Fairy Circle, the Mother Tree or our Keltoi Blarney Stone. For the young, there is a “Leprechaun Throne” upon which you can sit and reflect on the wee folk who made up centuries of Irish Lore. The south side holds an example of a lecht, which resembles an outdoor altar used by the early Irish. You may enjoy your wine in the tasting room or on one of the several outdoor patios. On the south side of The Cottage there is a lovely mural of three great Irish Saints.
In the cooler days of fall and winter, there are several lovely fireplaces to warm and relax you. In the summer months, we offer delicious Wine Slushies and in the winter, we have a hot-spiced Apple Wine available. Limited rough camping is available for $10.
