Located along the Missouri River in northwest Missouri, this park features picnic sites and shelters, a campground, a dog park, and trails for hikers and bicyclists. In addition, an accessible scenic overlook offers the most expansive views of the Missouri River in the state. Due to its location along the forested river corridor, this is an excellent place for bird-watching, especially during spring and fall migrations.
The Weston Bend area was once a thriving center of tobacco production. Several tobacco barns are located within the park. One has been converted into an enclosed shelter, and another features an interpretive display describing the local tobacco industry.
