What You’ll See on an Arrowhead Stadium Tour

An Arrowhead Stadium Tour takes you back to 1960 – the year the team got its start as the Dallas Texans. Exhibits span more than six decades – marking the team’s arrival in Kansas City, celebrating the franchise’s first world championship victory and honoring founder Lamar Hunt, who helped shape the NFL into the organization it is today.

Hall of Honor

Learn about the Chiefs’ past in the Hall of Honor where digital technology and an array of artifacts tell the team’s story. You’ll also find the busts of many Chiefs legends – from quarterback Len Dawson to defensive end Derrick Thomas.

Explore the roots of the American Football League, which was created by Hunt during his passioned pursuit to own a professional football team. The league included the Dallas Texans (eventually becoming the Kansas City Chiefs), Denver Broncos, Houston Oilers, Los Angeles Chargers, Boston Patriots, Buffalo Bills, New York Titans and Oakland Raiders. After a 10-year run, the AFL merged with the National Football League.

A highlight of the Hall of Honor is the collection of world championship trophies – celebrating the Chief’s victories in 1970, 2020, 2023 and 2024.

Locker Room

Venture into the Chiefs’ locker room for a glimpse at the place where the players suit up for their games, gather for halftime fine-tuning and come together for postgame celebrations.

The Art at Arrowhead

Arrowhead Stadium underwent a massive renovation in 2010 that included the addition of a world-class art collection. Artists from a six-state region submitted work to be considered for the Arrowhead Art Collection. More than 35 pieces, featuring a variety of subject matter, are currently on display. Several works by Missouri artist Thomas Hart Benton are part of the collection.
