Have a peek into remarkable homes decorated for the season! The 2024 Ste. Genevieve Holiday House Tour starts at the historic Guibourd-Valle House, decked out in natural Christmas decorations. Visitors can tour the house and view the spectacular Norman truss structure in the attic. From there, they will tour 6 – 8 private homes not normally open to the public and one bed and breakfast inn. The majority of the homes are downtown but we have one home outside city limits this year – a recently restored 1852 two story brick home. Ticket holders will be given a map at check-in and will go from house to house at their own pace. Each stop will have signage and a lantern to assist with finding where to enter. Homes vary in style and time period including Queen Ann, vertical log, American vernacular, among others. The 2024 Holiday House Tour, sponsored by the Foundation for Restoration of Ste. Genevieve, will be held Saturday, December 14, from 4 – 7 p.m. General admission is $20 and $15 for Foundation members. Tickets are available at www.historicstegen.org or at the door.
