Dinosaurs have invaded Branson! More than 45 life-size dinosaurs inhabit the Branson Dinosaur Museum. The dinosaurs were created by paleo-artists who used molds made from actual dinosaur bones to build out the replicas. From the one-foot microraptor to the towering 42-foot Tyrannosaurus Rex that stands more than two stories high attention to detail is excellent.
The Dinosaur Museum is a fun and educational experience and great for kids. Dinosaurs have descriptive details and visitors may take as long as they like on a self-guided tour. Selfies are encouraged and there is a documentary playing in a small theater. Families enjoy the “fossil” scavenger hunt and everyone finds something unique in the dinosaur themed gift shop.
The Branson Dinosaur Museum is located next to the “World’s Largest Toy Museum” and across the street from “Bigfoot Fun Park” on West Highway 76.
