Markers set in downtown Centralia. The Civil War in Centralia Marker outlining the history of Centralia’s involvement in the Civil War at the corner of the City Square. A second monument is on Railroad Street at the corner of Railroad and Rollins. This monument commemorating two notable Civil War incidents was presented on June 12, 1957 during the Centennial by the Wabash Railroad. This marker is at the location of the Centralia Massacre.
