The Kaysinger Bluff Pioneer Heritage Association is a nonprofit organization comprised of volunteers who are dedicated to preserving and presenting Benton County’s pioneer life as living history. The organization has been educating the public since 1980 at our location at the Harry S. Truman Dam Visitor Center in Warsaw, Missouri.

Pioneer Village is open to the public during the times that the Visitor Center is open; however, the general store hours may vary and houses handmade items consigned by crafts from Heritage Days.

Kaysinger Bluff Pioneer Heritage Association holds two annual events located on the Corp of Engineers property at the Harry S. Truman Visitor Center in Warsaw Missouri.

Heritage Days is held annually the third weekend in October. This event brings many heritage crafters and demonstrators of pioneer life to our site and draws thousands of guests from around the United States to the Warsaw area. This event has been held for the last 30 years.

The Kaysinger Christmas event is held in early December. Guests experience the sights, sounds and smells of days of days gone by, while enjoying old fashioned décor, wood stoves and fire places, singing of carols, and festive pioneer table fare. Come early and stay until dark and witness the changes that occur as darkness falls while strolling along the path elegantly lit by thousands of period luminaries and gaze into windows dressed for the season glowing from the light of oil lamps.
