The park has more than 5.5 miles of natural-surface and paved trails, including a bluff walking trail that overlooks the scenic Missouri River Valley. 

Additionally, the park offers a birding/wildflower area, fishing in the large lake and a group council ring or amphitheater area, which features a large fire pit.
