Known for its spectacular view of the Missouri River valley, this terraced, blufftop winegarden is a favorite retreat with a view that can’t be beat.
Originally purchased in 1974 by Curtis and Martha Bourgeois, this rustic, A-Frame structure overlooking the Missouri River near Rocheport underwent extensive renovations, then opened to the public in 1985 as a beautiful winegarden with an outdoor restaurant and patio space as the original Les Bourgeois Winery.
Now, maintaining its convenient location about 20 minutes from the University of Missouri in Columbia, The A-Frame Winegarden is part of The Blufftop at Rocheport, a trailside vineyard retreat. The A-Frame is open to visitors looking to enjoy award-winning Les Bourgeois Vineyards wine overlooking the Missouri River. The A-Frame serves up classic, American picnic fare for a scenic lunch or evening snack.
The Bistro at Les Bourgeois Vineyards Restaurant is next door, offering a timber-framed, full-service dining room overlooking the Missouri River.
Located 15 miles west of Columbia: I-70, exit 115; one mile north. There is also access to the Katy Trail from the winery via a short trail.
