Our name says it all! Seclusion is the key. With miles of wooded and open horse trails for all levels of experience, riders can spend hours without seeing the same terrain. Many locations have been groomed for stopovers, which could include a meal break and a rest stop.
Middle of Nowhere Ranch is also the home of the Green Hills Equestrian. Training and events occur throughout the year.
Our 500 acre facility features more than 16 miles of groomed trail, a lighted 82 x 168 indoor arena, outdoor dressage arena and cross country courses for Beginning Novice, Novice and Training levels. We have large turn-around for horse trailers and our full hook-up RV sites feature 30 and 50 amp connections as well as 110 outlets.
Adjacent to the indoor arena are eight 12 x 12 matted stalls, two wash bays with on-demand hot water and private tack rooms for boarders.
The horse barn features five indoor stalls and five covered outdoor stalls with outdoor horse wash racks available that are serviced by a continuous hot water heater!
A limited number of indoor horse stalls are available with advance notice for a nominal fee. Long-term boarding is also available.
Our lodges and full-hook up RV sites are co-located and limited camping is permitted within the RV sites/lodge area so groups traveling together who need varied overnight accommodations may still be co-located!
For our campers, a common-use bathhouse will also offer a washer/dryer, kitchen sink, gas grill (BBQ) and a microwave.
Primitive camping is allowed throughout the area. Free firewood is provided at all sites. We have a limited amount of fire rings provided at no extra charge.
Overnight guests may also enjoy our numerous stocked ponds for fishing and depending upon the time of the year, other activities such as mushroom hunting, nut gathering, and wild berry picking.
Hunting is also offered during certain times of the year. Rates vary depending upon the season selected.
Our lodges are fully equipped to include linens, pots and pans, washer/dryer, satellite TV and have central heat and AC. Our smallest lodge is two bedrooms with two twin beds each, a large living room with two sofa sleepers and an adjacent kitchen with full-size appliances. Other lodges are up to 1,800 square feet and accommodate up to 14 people in beds or sofa sleepers.
