The seven springs within Montauk State Park form the headwaters of the Current River. Regular stocking of rainbow trout provides excellent fishing. The catch-and-keep trout season runs from March 1-Oct. 31.

The park also features campgrounds, lodging facilities, picnic shelters, a dining lodge, an old gristmill, and trails for hiking and bicycling. Located 21 miles southwest of Salem in Dent County.
