Pirtle Winery started in 1978. Our tasting room and gift shop are housed in a circa 1867 German Lutheran Church. Our production facility is across the street. Complimentary tasting year-round. We offer a wide variety of grape and fruit wines.
We are known for our mead, wine made from honey. Mead is thought to be the oldest fermented beverage on earth. Sit in our vine covered outdoor wine garden and enjoy Pirtle Wine with a picnic basket of warm bread, cheeses, fruit, and summer sausage.
