The workshops cost $8 per puppet, and the end result is a high quality hand puppet, customized by each visitor. Guests are encouraged to try out their new puppet on a professional hand puppet stage with spotlights and curtains. Marionette workshops are also available, but reservations must be made ahead of time. The cost of a marionette workshop is $45. The puppet-making workshop fees also include admission to the museum.
