Our offices are located in beautiful Newton County, in the circa 1900 Horse’s Home building.
Our specialty is first-hand reports of news you need and outdoor adventures at specific places in Missouri, covered by knowledgeable outdoor writers and photographers. We focus on things to do and places to go: fishing; floating; camping; hiking; hunting; birding; wildlife-watching; history; geology; recipes and interesting people. We produce a monthly magazine, carry regional history and outdoor sports books. Our staff furnishes visitor information and maps for Route 66 and outdoor service providers, plus detailed Missouri outdoor visitor’s information.
