Talking Rocks Cavern is open year-round, and has a constant temperature of 63 degrees, making this is the ideal attraction to visit any season of the year. The large Rock and Gift Shop features unique rocks, minerals and fossils. Among them are is a wide selection of pyrite (aka: fool’s gold!) amethyst, citrine, malachite, selenite and a variety of quartz.
Plan time to hike the nature trail to the lookout tower, and enjoy a snack at one of the shaded picnic areas. Putt a round or two of Cave Country Mini-Golf, and pan for gemstones. With the purchase of a cave ticket, enjoy the Family Games Area which includes corn hole, giant checkers, giant Jenga, basketball shootout and a kids climbing wall to name a few.
