Located in a Historic Train Depot built in 1917, The Depot Cafe celebrates it’s 9th birthday on February 9th, 2025.
Serving both lunch and dinner, Wednesday through Saturday from 11 am to 8 pm, the reputation of this restaurant continues to grow. This scratch kitchen specializes in homemade soups, offering Chili, Hungarian Mushroom and Beer Cheese Onion all the time, topped off with a soup of the day. Most salad dressings are made in house, featuring a popular Ranch, Spinach Pepita and Creamy Feta and Bacon. Sandwiches are a generous portion, served with a side. The most popular are the Blackened Fish Tacos, Pressed Dip Sandwich, Press Ham and Cheddar on a Brioche Bun and the Cajun Pork Chop Sandwich. Dinners include a variety of steaks, Salmon, Blackened White Fish, Railroad Pork Chop, a Cajun Fettuccine with either Shrimp or Chicken, and ever changing specials of both a pasta and a seafood. Cajun Crab Cheesecake is the newest appetizer to join the menu. Desserts are made in house include a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, peanut butter pie, bread pudding with rum sauce and chocolate cheesecakes.
